In addition to 44 wedding guests directly from Ukraine the ceremony for the newlyweds and the banquet will be conducted following traditional Ukrainian customs and the newlyweds will make a wedding journey along the Jihlava–Prague–Slavutych route.

Obřad se bude konat ve 13 hodin v Jurkovičově vile Moravské galerie v Brně, bohoslužba za přátelské vztahy mezi Českou republikou a Ukrajinou v 15 hodin v Kostele sv. Slavutych - into the Book of World Records, and YOU - to the Czech Republic!

On Tuesday 11 April, 2017 the Czech artist Kateřina Šedá has agreed with the Mayor of Slavutych on the exact wording of the record with which Slavutych is to be inscribed in the Guinness Book of Records: Slavutych people will try to submit together the biggest ever visa application of all times! Moreover, there will be a draw selecting one Slavutych inhabitant out of each hundred submitted applications, who will obtain an official invitation from the Czech Republic and whose costs of travel and stay will be fully taken in charge.

Organizers of the unique event announced the second round of the best record proposal competition

All 8 proposals, approved in the first round could be modified and updated by the authors. They can take part at the second round that is open to the contributions of other Slavutych residents, too. This round should bring the final version – the idea, which will be used by Kateřina Šedá to create the final version of the project.
